What can be more refreshing this Summer than having these three delicious smoothies that you can sip on, guilt-free?

I. Power-packed ABC juice
Ingredients:
A - Apple
B - Beetroot
C - Carrot
Directions:
Add one apple (peeled and sliced), 1 carrot, 1-2 beetroot slices to a blender.
Add 1/2 cup water.
Blend until smooth.
This juice is filled with goodness and has several amazing benefits. It is anti-inflammatory, improves brain function, and is good for stomach, kidneys, liver and pancreas. Recent reports show that it can even kill cancer cells.
II. Energy-boosting Cacao banana smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup Almond milk (boiled and cooled)
1 tbsp cacao powder
Half a banana
5-6 dates
Directions:
Add everything into the blender.
Blend until smooth.
This smoothie is rich in antioxidants, potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron. It is also rich in polyphenols and is anti-inflammatory.
III. Green detox smoothie
Ingredients:
1/2 cup baby spinach
1 carrot (chopped)
1 apple (peeled and sliced)
Home-grown wheatgrass (washed in vinegar and chopped) - link for this below.
3-4 de-seeded dates
1/4 cup water water
Directions:
Add everything into the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Add 1 tbsp lemon juice to the smoothie and mix well before having.
